Curriculum Vitae

Arno Schlueter is Professor of Architecture and Building Systems at the Institute of Technology In Architecture (ITA) at the Department of Architecture, ETH Zürich. He holds a degree in architecture from the Technical University of Karlsruhe, a postgraduate Master of Advanced Studies in CAAD and a PhD in building systems from ETH Zürich. In his work he focuses on sustainable building systems, their integration into architecture and urban design using computational methods for design, analysis and optimization. In 2009 he co-founded the ETH spinoff KEOTO AG, where he is currently part of the management board. In 2010 he was appointed Assistant Professor of Architecture & Sustainable Building Technologies (SuAT) and in 2014 Full Professor of Architecture and Building Systems (A/S) at the Institute of Technology in Architecture (ITA), ETH Zurich. Since 2013 he is also module leader at the Future Cities Lab (FCL), Singapore. Along with his team his work has been published in scientific journals, magazines and books and was awarded several prizes. Arno Schlueter is member of the ETH Energy Science Center (ESC) and the ETH Foundation Partnership on Sustainable Construction.
